Please note: As of May 2025, I am currently accepting horror novels for review. This includes books from small publishers, self-published authors, and publishing houses. However, if a request does not follow my outlined process, I will delete the request without responding. After reviewing my policy, fill out the form to get in contact with me.
My Review Policy
Genres I Accept
As this is a horror book review blog, I am looking for books that fall into that genre. I adore psychological horror novels, and I’m not afraid of a good splatterpunk story. If you’ve got a horror with a well-thought-out story, don’t be afraid to send me a preview. I’m most interested in:

Formatting Preferences
At my core, I am an audiobook girl, but I also accept epub copies. I read primarily on my Kindle, and unless you’ve got a gorgeous cover, I don’t want a bunch of physical books hanging around my tiny apartment.
Audiobook note: 99% of my listening is done on Everand. If your book is there, there’s no need to send me a copy.
Where Do Reviews Get Posted?
In general, I am flexible to where reviews will be posted. If the book is DNF’d it will only be posted on my Instagram. Otherwise, everything goes on the blog in some form.

General Rating Policy
However, it is important to note that I usually bail on a book if I think it will be a 1 or 2-star read as I simply stop reading books that I’m not enjoying.
- 5 Stars – I adored it! I’m telling my friends, I’m rereading it, and it’s living in the back of my head rent-free.
- 4 Stars – A fun book! I probably won’t reread it, and there was one issue that stopped it from being a 5-star read.
- 3 Stars – I enjoyed it, but I wouldn’t shout it from the rooftops.
- DNF – If a book is 2 stars or lower, I probably won’t finish the book and it wouldn’t be fair to leave a rating. Does get added to my IG in monthly wrap ups.
Review Timeline
In general, I will only accept a handful of books to review every month. I only accept books I feel I’ll enjoy, and I would prefer to have as much time as possible to finish them. In general, my turn around time is 30 days, but I’m always willing to work with indie authors. If there’s a delay or I need more than a month, I try to keep everyone updated as much as possible.

Please let me know if you’d like to be tagged in any reviews I leave on social media. While some authors prefer it, I know it can be a sensitive area. Additionally, if you’re open to featuring one of my reviews on your author website, I’d love to include a link to your site at the bottom of my review.

- I do not charge for my service. All book reviews are free.
- I reserve the right to DNF and refused any book sent to me for any reason. I’m here for a good time, not a long time.
